Why “Braidologie”?

My blog’s name comes from the fact that I always have a braid in my hair and that is the first characteristic people use to find me. Since a braid uses three sections to make a beautiful outcome, the name is fitting because I love to write about running, travel, and lifestyle.

Why am I studying Health, Exercise, and Sports Science?

Because my major is awesomely fascinating! On a more serious note, because of my athletic childhood and the values my parents instilled in me, I am genuinely interested in everything that has to do with health and exercise. With my undergraduate degree, I hope to pursue physical therapy school to earn my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

How long have I been a runner?

You can find my complete running story here, but I got into running because of my dad, started running since I was in middle school and have been running ever since! I ran cross country and track all throughout high school. My running journey still continues as I tackle on the responsibilities of being a college student.

Where have I traveled to?

The international places I’ve visited include: Philippines (Manila, Tagaytay, Batangas, Boracay, Dumaguete, Bohol, Manjuyod Sandbar, and Siquijor), Mexico (Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, and Cabo San Lucas),  and Canada (Vancouver). I have also traveled to the East Coast, stopping by Florida, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. I have also been to Seattle, Portland, Oahu, and throughout my home state of California.
